We are participating in a postcard exchange! We will be receiving postcards from all 50 states. That means we will be sending out 50 postcards-one to each state. We need your help! PLEASE send one (or more) postcards that represent South Dakota. You can purchase them at most gas stations, Wal-mart, Kmart, etc. for about a dollar or two. Each postcard we receive and send out has information about the state. It’s going to be a great learning experience, but we need your help!!

Please send shoeboxes, too! We need them for an October art project. So far, I have received only 5!

Starting October 1st, I will be at the high school for debate practice every day after school. If you need to reach me, please call the high school at 397-8318. It’s a busy time for me and I spend many late evenings/nights at school. If you can help with clerical duties (book orders, bulletin boards, copying, etc.) I would certainly appreciate it–even a couple of hours a month would help! We have a parent that comes every Wednesday to help and I’m sure she’d be willing to show you the ropes. Plus, your child would LOVE to have you help out at school!
